WHAT IS A MASTERCLASS?

Have you ever looked at the WOTT website and wondered what the difference is between a course and a masterclass? It’s pretty simple: we get requests all the time from folks wanting to learn skills that fall outside our (admittedly pretty impressive) range. Once we get enough requests, we go on the hunt for people who can do what we can’t, and we ask them nicely if they’ll come along and share those skills. So far, we’ve sourced a wood carver (not pictured here, sadly), a mechanic, a blacksmith and a landscaper (and we’re constantly on the hunt for other folks with skills to meet your requests). It means we can do two things: we can offer a wider range of courses; and we can promote what these fabulous folks and their businesses do. So give it up for Steph White (Steph the Woodcarver), Kitty Woodhouse (The Maiden of Metal), Bec Phoenix (Bex Garden Design) and Eve Elaine (E-Lane Mechanical)! Delivered on the availability of the masterclass presenters.

CAN I USE THE WORKSHOP / TOOLS WITHOUT DOING A COURSE?

WOTT offers memberships for people to use the workshop on their personal projects. Currently, this is only offered to people who have undertaken a WOTT course. From 1 st July, these memberships to use the workspace will be open to anyone.
